Predicting PA Pop Trends

As a nod to the French history of Pennsylvania and on the heels of the wildly popular French manicure, I present to you:

The farmer's manicure.  Do not be confused by cheap imitations like the mechanics manicure.  This manicure is achieved with a delicate mixture of humus, top soil, and manure.

Your fingertips will be naturally darkened and enhanced with the farmer's manicure.  Now available in any back yard near you.

Ladies, tired of the cool Spring weather spoiling your new pedicure?  Then this next product is just for you:

Pedi-socks are the revolutionary new product that allows you to show off those twinkly toes when the cool weather prevails.  You can set your pretty tootsies free AND get extra months of flip-flop wear all at once.  If you spend more than $10.00 for flip-flops, you are going to LOVE expanding the wearing season with this must have product.  Available in the seasons most popular fashion colors.  Look for them wherever your favorite nail care products are sold.

Hmmmm......and all these years I thought........ The Farmer's Manicure..... I've been chique all this time!! Give it a classier name, like the Pennsylvania Manicure or the PA Manicure, or how about the Duboys Manicure and the Marsails Pedicure.

This is what happens when the house is clean, freshly painted, organized, and you don't have a job. Luckily, just today, Mother Nature decided to stop dumping rain on us. She's also allowing the sun to warm up the outside all the way into the sixties. I've been wearing my winter coat up until two days ago and last night we had frost but Honey covered the tomatoes he planted yesterday. If the weather stays nice I may be able to occupy my meandering mind in the yard. Plus, I noticed the back porch needs repairing and painting. You may have to wait for your next installment of silliness. Thanks for stopping and have a great weekend!

When i was a kid many decades ago by the end of May we had discarded our shoes and long pants for shorts and a skimpy T shirt and used to embarrass our Moms with high water marks dirty feet and blackened finger nails. i could never figure out why my Mom would go ballistic over a dirty neck, ha ha
